The Historical Record of AGITEL -FORMATION

1989 – 1990 :

Setting up of the Ivorian Agency of Telematics by Mr SANOGO Mamadou with the vocation of proposing some solutions in the fields of telematics and computer science.

1992 – 1994 :

The high demand of vocational training led AGITEL -FORMATION to change into a training school preparing students for the French BTS/HND in communication and Advertising, International Trade, Business Management and Sales force and Computer science Management

1994 – 1995 :

After two years, AGITEL -FORMATION decided to come back to the Ivorian BTS/HND - launching) of the Engineering studies in the following fields: communication, Trade and Computer science

Année 1996 :

First study trip to Ghana by AGITEL -FORMATION students

Année 1997 :

Inter-colleges and Universities competition (either private or public) of the best seller organised by the youth Economic Chamber(JCE) at CCIA . The 1st and 2nd awards were won by the students of AGITEL –FORMATION

Année 2000 :

Inter-college and universities competition (either private or public) of the best end of studies report in International Trade organized by APEX-CI and the World Bank;

The first award of schools won by AGITEL –FORMATION
The first and second award of Engineering levels won by two students of AGITEL –FORMATION
The first and second award of 2nd year students and Bachelor levels won by two students of AGITEL –FORMATION

Année 2001 :

Relocation of the Head office of AGITEL -FORMATION from Plateau to Riviera Palmeraie, called the site of Riviera or The AGITEL campus

Année 2002 :

Introduction of the following fields: finance and Accounting, management of small-sized Enterprises Assistant, Transport and Logistics in BTS/HND and Engineering in Finance and Accounting(Engineering levels)

Second edition of the Inter-college and universities competition (either private or public) of the best end of studies report in International Trade organized by APEX-CI and the World Bank;

The first award of schools won by AGITEL -FORMATION
The first and second award of the Engineering Studies won by two student of AGITEL -FORMATION
The first award of the BTS/HND levels won by AGITEL -FORMATION

Année 2003 :

Introduction of (the Engineering studies in management of the Logistics Operations) IMOL (Engineering level)

Restructuration of the school, creation of an Academic Management and a Scientific and Pedagogic headed by Professor AIDARA Daouda, Titular and former Chairman of the Abobo-Adjame University and Advisor of the current Chairman.

AGITEL – FORMATION becomes AGITEL –FORMATION ENGINEERING SCHOOLS which falls into four (4) institutes:

Higher Institute of Computer Science and New Information and Communication Technologies (HICS-NICT)
Higher Institute of Management and International Trade(HIMIT)
Higher Institute of Communication and Human ressources (HICHR)
Higher Institute of Finance and Accounting (HIFA)

Accreditation of six(6) out of the seven(7) degrees prepared by the school by the African and madagascan Council for High Education (CAMES) which establishses a recognition and equivalence to those universities of the sixteen(16) member countries and all others which are affilieted to it throughout the world.

Adhesion to the famous North-American AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) which grants an international recocgnition to AGITEL –FORMATION’s Masters and MBAs as regard the Anglo-saxon professional and university world.

Language study trip of thirteen(13) students of AGITEL –FORMATION at Torbay Language Institute in Gree=at Britain

Année 2004 :

Competition of the best website achieved in a single day during the « Internet celebration » jointly organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and the Ministry of the new Information and Communication Technonologies where AGITEL –FORMATION won the first five awards.

Flight of four(4) student of AGITEL –FORMATION to ABU DHABI

Seven (7) trophies won during the junior Achievement yearly competition of mini-enterprises

Best manager award organised by an economic magazinr called « PME MAGAZINE » won by the General Manager of AGITEL –FORMATION

Année 2005 :

Signature of a partnership with the three(3) public universities of Côte d’Ivoire / Ivory coast namely: The university of Cocody, Abobo-Adjamé and Bouaké

Competition of the best website achieved in a single day, where AGITEL won four(4) trophies

Recocgnition of the seventh(7th) diploma of AGITEL by the CAMES (7/7) seven out of seven.

The Partenaership

Several agreements of partnerships have been signed by AGITEL-FORMATION with:

At the local level

	Bouaké University which currently deliver some of its courses on the campus of AGITEL Palmeraie for the quality of its premises
	APEX-CI (Association for the Promotion of Export in ivory Coast), through its training department funded by Canada which accepted the partnership because of the quality of AGITEL international training programmes.
	FDFP(Funds for the Development of Vocational Training) implemented by the world Bank and Ivory coast as part the funding of workers training.

At the African level

	The Gabonese government which has constant partnership with AGITEL through the orientation of its grant holders in its training fields.
	The accreditation of our diplomas by CAMES(Madagascan and African Council for Higher education) establishes both a recognition and equivalence to those of the sixteen (16) member countries and all other affiliated worldwide.

At the European level

London Green valley College in England which temporary help in the teaching in Trade, Finance and Accounting permits to consolidate both students and professors knowledge

In the United States of America

IACOCA: institute of Business and Economics in Pennsylvania The adhesion to the AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) as a member has enlarged the number of partners and opened the Anglo-saxon university world to AGITEL.
